Rambha appeared to media men by yesterday evening and spoke about her failed suicide attempt.

One of the reason that might have induced her to take up such an extreme step is that she was never gossiped relating her with a rich, young, handsome man, while she was spoken with Bojpuri actor Ravi who is married and father of three grown up girls. This was the hint that she gave herself while speaking to reporters yesterday (26th Aug)

She denies the reason of money problem as she claims there are many people living in Chennai who have lost their money while doing business.

The main reason seems to be that she wants to marry and settle down like that of other females, but her parents were delaying her marriage.

She says "As Thursday (21st Aug) was a day for Saibaba, I fast on the day for Saibaba. As Friday is for Varalakshmi, I fast on that day too! On Saturday it was Krishna Jayanthi, I fast on that too. Sunday was the fast breaking day so I did not eat anything. By evening I took specially prepared Prasadam which was prepared for God and that had the poison and caused me all the trouble. I never attempted suicide."
